Inner thoughts

Finally the Finals ended two days ago. The results were not as predicted. hrm. I was upset with the results but it was more saddening knowing that the press twisted the whole meaning of the competition.

Looking at the news I've read the other day with big highlights on the factor I lost was prior to Eric's fault. Definitely the biggest fallacy. Obviously, sensible audience would know Round 4 is reset. My duet with Eric did not affect the part of me losing at all. Enough said. I personally think that my duet with Eric was the best agenda of the night. =)

I remember when they announced the results, I was feeling lost. More like numb. I didn't feel much until my dear friends all came up and hugged me tightly. They told me, 'you've done your best and you are already the winner in my heart.' It really tore me down and my tears flowed uncontrollably.

The next thing I knew was Eric standing next to me. I hugged him and cried. Everything around me went slow motion. It took longer than I thought to hit me that everything is ended. I am not the champion. I tried spotting at my parents, my friends, people who have been supporting me. I am no longer their pride. I've lost. I disappointed them after so long journey of hard work and effort.

I left home, to my own sweet home in Daddy's car that night. Family were there as my pillar of strength, my comfort zone. Mum asked if I was okay. I said yes. Minutes later in the car, I told them, 'I really have not finish crying yet.'

The next day I logged into my friendster, facebook, my blog, there were countless of msges showing their support to me. Smses I have received were like mountains high.

This I thank you all. Thank you.

I am disappointed but this is not the end. It is just the starting point. I believe with the support love and care I have from you all, I will grow and learn. Toast to success!
